Discipline & Penalties
The T.Rippon Mid Essex Cricket League abide by the ECB Code of Conduct and Spirit of Cricket guidelines which cover all matters
such as disciplinary hearings, appeals, penalties and fines as well as clubs, captains and players responsibilities.

Mr S Farooq of Little Waltham Cricket Club has been banned for 9 matches, 3 of which have been suspended until the end of the 2010 season,
for pushing an umpire. The ban commences on 22nd August and will be completed after match 4 of the 2010 season.
David Cole of Stock is banned for 2 games, with one suspended until the end of the 2011 season. The ban will be enforced on Saturday August 1st
2009 for using foul and abusive language.
Old Chelmsfordians have been given a final warning regarding contents that have appeared on their website
Danbury Queens Park C.C. and all its members have been warned about their future conduct and if any of their members are up before the Disciplinary Committee again the matter will be treated very seriously.
G.Raven of Tillingham has been banned for life from standing as an umpire in any T.Rippon Mid Essex Cricket League matches for inappropriate behaviour.
N.Cullerton of Aythorpe Roding has received a 3 match ban, suspended until the end of the 2011 season, for foul language.
Chris Meyer has been banned for the 1 match. This will be the 1st League Game of the 2010 season for inappropriate behaviour.
Damian Westwood has been banned for 3 matches. The ban was implemented for the final match of the 2009 season and the first 2 matches of the 2010 season for use of foul and abusive language.
Hockley and have been warned that should any of their teams break Rules 5,5a,6,6a and 19 during the 2010 season then all their sides will be deducted
30 points. This is as a result of continuously breaking these rules during the 2009 season.
South Woodham Ferrers have been warned that should any of their teams break Rules 5,5a,6,6a and 19 during the 2010 season then all their sides will be
deducted 30 points. This is a result of continuously breaking these rules during the 2009 season.
Both Danbury Queens Park sides have been deducted 30 points for the 2009 season for breaking Rule 19 for which they were on a warning. Should either of
their sides break Rules 5,5a,6,6a,16,17,18 and 19 during a period from 16th October 2009 till 15th October 2010 then both their teams will be deducted
60 points.
Mr.N.Townson of South Weald has been banned for the first league game of the 2010 season for purposely obstructing an opposition bowler during his run up.
Please accept this advice of a player banned from the Lords’ International Essex league:- Mr Andy Walcott of Leyton County CC.
Banned for one year (backdated to 27/06/2009). Ban finishes on 27/06/2010.
Summary of offence:- “Threatening Behaviour towards a league umpire and refusal to leave the field after being given out”
